We are at the end of our first full week of school and I'm happy to report that everyone is doing great! The students are really picking up on the daily routines and schedules. I'm happy to be working with Mrs. Jenniches and Ms. Embrey in the classroom again this year. In addition, we have a student teacher with our class until mid October. Ms. Koertge is a wonderful addition to our class. She has been eager to jump in and help whevever she can.

We have started our Storytown reading series this week. Spelling tests were a great success with everyone getting 100%.

I'm proud that the students are working so hard.

Welcome to the 2009-2010 school year. I am very excited to be working with second and third graders this year. We are off to a great start and ready to learn more. Next week we will be starting our Storytown Reading! Students in my class will be working with Ms. Cappel for second grade and Ms. Colley for third grade. We are lucky to have such great teachers to work with.
